To succeed in chess, scholastic chess players must learn and develop new openings.

The Chess Learn Sicilian Opening seminar will teach concepts and demonstrate practical "do's and don'ts" that will help players answer the question "How do I play the Sicilian opening?

Only intensive study will help your scholastic chess player perfect their Sicilian opening more than this seminar.
Seminar Agenda:

This Chess Learn seminar will focus on three of the most popular opening patterns and themes, which could arise in the various Sicilian Defense openings.

Morning Session (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM):

  1. What is the Sicilian opening?
  2. Why play the Sicilian opening?
  3. What Sicilian variations will I see?

Afternoon Session (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM):

  1. The Sicilian Dragon Variation.
  2. The Bishop b5 Sicilian.
  3. The Sicilian Kopec System.
