Description: The Chess Learn "Tactics and Combinations" Seminar will focus on end game play and Rook, Knight and Bishop checkmates.

Who should attend:

The Chess Learning Center Seminars are designed for two levels of players

  1. The Intermediate player* who:
    ..
    • has a clear understanding of basic tactics (pins, forks, skewers and double attacks).
      ..
    • can read and write chess notation.
      ..
    • seeks to learn and expand their knowledge of chess

    * Advanced beginners admitted with special permission.
    ..

  2. The Advanced players who need to strengthen their current skills set by seeing new relationships among chess pieces in addition to learning new techniques.
